더 뱀프스(he Vamps)는 영국의 4인조 밴드입니다. 2011년 제임스 맥베이(James Mcvey, 기타)가 레코드사와 계약한 이후 브래드 심슨(Bradley Simpson, 보컬)은 유튜브에서, 이듬해 드러머 트리스탄 에번스(Tristan Evans, 드럼)는 페이스북에서 만났습니다. 2013년 코너 볼(Connor ball, 베이스)이 합류하고부터 유튜브에 커버 곡들을 올리기 시작했습니다. 원 디렉션의 [Live While We're Young] 커버 영상으로 유명해지기 시작했습니다. 그 해 7월에 첫 데뷔 앨범의 타이틀곡 [Wild Heart]를 유튜브에 선공개한 뒤, 10월에는 첫 번째 싱글 음원 [Can We Dance]를 발표했습니다.

데뷔 싱글 [Can We Dance]로 단숨에 영국(UK) 싱글 차트 2위에 오르고, 스포티파이 기준 누적 스트리밍 횟수만 20억을 달성했습니다. [Can We Dance]의 뮤직비디오는 2주 만에 조회 수가 100만 뷰을 넘었습니다. 2014년 5월에 미국 가수 데미 로바토(Demi Lovato)가 피처링한 [Somebody to You]를 발표했는데 유튜브에서 1억 6천만 뷰를 넘겼습니다. 같은 해 10월에는 션 멘데스와 함께한 [Oh Cecilia(Breaking My Heart)]를 발표했습니다. 이 곡은 영국 싱글 차트 9위에 올라 5번째로 연속 톱 10 싱글이 되었습니다.

2016년 1월에 애니메이션 [쿵푸 팬터3]의 [Kung Fu Fighting]를 더 뱀프스 버전으로 발표했습니다. 2018년에는 [Too Good to be True], [Hair Too Long], [Just My Type] 등 싱글 앨범을 다수 공개하기도 했습니다. 2018년 10월 [Slow Life Slow Live 2018]으로 첫 내한을 한 이후, [2019 인천 펜타포트 락 페스티벌] 라인업에 올라 오랜만에 한국을 방문합니다. 인천 펜타포트 락 페스티벌은 8월 9일부터 11일까지 인천 송도 달빛축제공원에서 개최됩니다.
