앤 마리는 91년생의 잉글랜드의 싱어송라이터이자 가라테 선수입니다. 6살 때 연극 레미제라블에서 아역으로, 12살 때는 뮤지컬에도 참여했습니다. 가라테는 9살 때부터 시작해 11살에는 세계선수권대회에서 2개의 금메달을 목에 걸기도 했습니다.

2013년 솔로곡 [Summer Girl]으로 데뷔했고, 루디멘탈(Rudimental/영국의 밴드 그룹)의 곡을 피처링하면서 이름을 알렸습니다. 앤 마리가 한국에서 인기를 끌기 시작한 것은 작년에 발표한 [Speak Your Mind]의 수록곡 [2002]가 음원차트에서 역주행을 하면서부터입니다.

[2002]는 에드 시런(Ed Sheeran)과 줄리아 마이클스(Julia Michaels)가 작사, 작곡을 맡아 화제가 되었고 영국 차트에서도 5위를 달성하며 큰 사랑을 받았습니다. 올해 4월에는 YES24 라이브홀에서 첫 내한공연을 하기도 했습니다.
