리틀 믹스(Little Mix)는 2011년 영국의 오디션 프로그램 엑스 팩터(X Factor) 시즌 8에서 결성된 걸그룹입니다. 엑스 팩터에 개인으로 각각 출전하여 참가자들끼리 그룹으로 결성시켰다가, 우승까지 거머쥐게 되었습니다. 그 당시 그룹명은 리드믹스(Rhythmix)였으나 동명의 음악재단이 그룹명을 바꾸라는 항의를 해서 발음이 비슷한 리틀 믹스(Little Mix)로 변경했습니다. 2012년 7월에 [Wings]로 데뷔하여 현재 영국을 대표하는 걸그룹이 되었습니다.

멤버는 페리 에드워즈(Perrie Edwards), 제이드 설웰(Jade Thirlwall), 제시 넬슨(Jesy Nelson), 리앤 피녹(Leigh-Anne Pinnock)으로, 모두 보컬 실력이 뛰어난 것뿐만 아니라 작사, 작곡에도 직접 참여한다고 합니다. 그중 리앤 피녹이 작사, 작곡한 곡이 많은 비중을 차지합니다.

리틀 믹스는 평소 K-pop에 관심이 많았는데 [K팝스타2]에서 출연자들이 [Wings]를 부르는 것을 본 뒤 한국어 버전으로 개사하고 직접 한국어로 부른 [날개]를 발표해 화제를 일으키기도 했습니다.
